There was a eerie silence also floating in the air. A chill that shivered your spine next to the fear of unknowing what was beyond the mist. However on the edge of the dead vegetation and rotted roots, was a pair of stilted black legs and a puffed amount of orange fur. However the fur wasn't all too puffed as it was weighed down by the mist gathering on the ends of his mane. Like the wet spider he was, caught in time from this strange world. He could of sworn since the first moment he arrived in this strange pale world of an after life, his mane had puffed more, giving him more of a strange puffed appearance, despite his small lengthy frame.
He came a far way, leaving the safety of the purgatory post. His mind was sort of blank, and in denial as he decided to walk along the unknown world instead of facing his fate, just like he did on Earth. Alakay, for the firs time, reflected on his past. What a miserable and disgusting life he led. He practically raped Rickalaru, a beautiful innocent white wolfess. She birthed his children, Naomi and Natoma. Often Alakay found his daughter, she stuck out like an angel from the skies. She had her mothers pure white fur, but the build of the exotic maned wolfs. A wondrous thing she became, meanwhile her brother was the opposite, the body of a common wolf but strange orange fur covered his body with black legs.
And it'd be the last week of Alakay's natural life when he saw his daughter for one last time. She was so happy, among the Lucifers with a family, small paws, with her beauty following her among the safety of her pack lines. Alakay had never felt so happy in his life at that moment. However before the incident with Rickalaru, Alakay found himself desperate to keep himself fed and was taken in by Seshafi at a young age. The one and only Seshafi that had been by the one and only Cesaru of Traum in fact. He had resided next to Joaquin, Crouse and Alejandro-- dealing with their taunting to the true fact: he was a rapist.
That wasn't the end of it though. Alakay could never retaliate, and owed his life to Seshafi. And when things were becoming grim with war, Anakaros crossed Alakay, calling him 'the puffed spider'. Hence his nickname. It fit him well, he was a tall and lengthy brute for his type, and his mane stuck up-- his teeth snarled more of defense than ever offence, he was a pathetic looking arachnid to Anakaros' group. And it'd be the faithful week before the Traum war that Alakay saw his daughter for the last time, and his son for the first... The strong well trained orange wolf had tracked down Alakay with little to no effort. Roughing him up, calling him names he deserved. Alakay kind of hoped his son would kill him, right then and there. Then Alakay wouldn't have to see the war, stalk his daughter or feel this never ending guilt inside him.
But fate listened to Alakay in a different way. Natoma let him go, to Alakay's sudden relief. His stilted legs carried so fast, trying to escape his son's angry grasp. And it'd be in those last few strides, that Alakay felt a strangling pain in his chest. He heard it, heard his heart stop. Then his senses went dull, he lost his sight, falling to the ground. With a struggle to move, he couldn't. Feeling his last breathes struggle as his heart officially went into cardiac arrest. And so here he was. In his dying seconds, he sent a silent prayer out for his daughter and Rickalaru, and his apparent grandchildren he never deserved to even know about. It was in those last few seconds he breathed relief as he would be free of his guilt.
Only to be reborn again.
ooc; FOR ALUEBABE! I coulda kept writing, but decided to hold some of it in xD

If purgatory was intended to be a barren, miserable wasteland no one had ever informed Zee Captain. She sauntered over the cracked white earth for all the world as though waltzing through a sunny meadow, muzzle tilted up and eyes half closed as though turning his face into a warm breeze despite the air being still as a corpse. There was a casual bounce in his step, almost a skip that made the maned wolf’s already sloping gate even more uneven as she progressed through the skeletal deadlands.
Thin tendrils of mist coiled in and out of bleach-white tree trunks rising towards graphite gray clouds, giving the surrounding forest a blurry, surreal quality. Zee Captain hummed noisily as she meandered through the broken trees, occasionally taking a hop or a skip to the not entirely melodic tune thrumming from his throat. A thick, bushy black tail swished lazily around shapely hindquarters, the white tip flicking about and tickling her red-socked ankles pleasantly.
As the unusual specimen known as Zee Captain danced about she began to give lyric to the tune rolling from her throat, first in a lilting feminine voice, “Que Sera Sera. Whatever we make will be,” that flowed beautifully from black lips and changed quite abruptly to a deep, very masculine baritone, “The future is ours to forge. Que Sera! Sera…”
The song went on, alternating between soft and deep tones. No doubt were anyone else to hear without glimpsing the singer they would have thought themselves listening to a semi-drunken, occasionally off-key duet rather than a solo performance. The longer he sang the more uneven his voice became; but Zee Captain was not overly concerned with presentation, there being no one within sight and singing being considerably more fun when one simply belted out the lyrics as opposed to obsessing over quality.
She continued to frolic dreamily through the dead forest, a dark blot in the pale mist, voice carrying loudly through the still air and echoing eerily from the trees. Her pupiless purple eyes flitted about the surroundings every so often, but for the most part remained fixated on the ground ahead. Though the appearance of his eyes may have led one to believe Zee Captain blind, this was not the case; she could see just as well (and arguably better than) any true-wolf or maned wolf in the land. Like her almost tuxedo-like markings, pitch-black over a snowy white undercoat, the eerie homologous coloration served to set him apart from others of his kind. However, unlike the coloration of his coat, Zee Captain’s eyes were a product of her rather lengthy stint in purgatory; one of the few visible mutations the creature had suffered thus far. Not, of course, the only side effect of her not inconsiderable stay in the lands, but certainly the most noticeable at a glance.
Captain was halfway through a line of her song when a shift the breeze carried a new scent, mildly skunkish, to his attention. Pausing mid-step he tilted his nose in direction of the scent, long ears pricking forward until Captain finally caught her first glimpse of the creature through the mist, “It ssssmellsss ssssour, bitter,” she hissed, angling towards the beast so clearly new to purgatory’s clutches, “like guilt and pain. Like a ssspider, foul and creeping. Tell us why you’re here, little ssspider,” Captain strode a broad circle around the newcomer as she questioned, eerie gaze fixated on the creature who’s form was like her own, “What evilssss have you committed? And why don’t you burn like the otherssss of your kind?”

The only sound was a swift short breeze here and there. Purgatory blowing around stagnant warm air that seemed to fill your lungs with a poison you don't realize until it is too late. And the strange air did it's magic indeed. Leaving Alakay's brain feeling like there was a bug inside, but maybe that was always there. His body froze when the breeze brought in a different sound than just suffering. A very faint sound of someone, or more, singing?
His long stilted legs paused as he witnessed what appeared like a maned wolf approaching him. Their fur was both black and white, hint of red here and there. It had him frozen to where he stood, because he hadn't seen a different colored maned wolf other than his children. However this... female was the capture of the song before, as they spoke with a tone he wasn't sure what to think of. “It ssssmellsss ssssour, bitter, --like guilt and pain. Like a ssspider, foul and creeping. Tell us why you’re here, little ssspider,”
The other simply circled him with no doubt. No worries. He stiffened but then put on his mask of ego he knew was diminished. The other also called him a spider. He physically cringed as accepted the fact that his soul was that of a spider, hiding in the shadows and being nothing but venom and something that was hated by others. He had that affect on others. He was creepy, gangly and the purgatory was twisting his image even farther into that of a spider-wolf.
“What evilssss have you committed? And why don’t you burn like the otherssss of your kind?” Alakay swallowed and squinted at the other. Were they mental? He snickered and decided then and there to respond. He was dead after all and that's all he'll ever be. Dead to the world, gladly. What a depressing wolf Alakay has been, his whole entire entity was a blob of desperation and despair. "I do not need to face my destiny until I want, punk." He practically hissed with a snarl toward the other. Hoping he'd die over and over again instead of having to talk with a deranged other.

“I do not need to face my destiny until I want, punk,” the yet to be named maned wolf rumbled with what Captain could only assume was false bravado given the stranger reeked of despair, not unlike a grass eater being dragged to its knees and devoured alive by a pack of wolves, shredded mercilessly by ravenous fangs. Captain unleashed a throaty, hair raisingly unnerving chuckle that rose gradually in pitch much like a laughing hyena, a sound not unlike the laughter of hell’s guardians from whom she had learned the voice pattern. Vocal mimicry had always been a special talent of his, one she utilized frequently whenever it fell to her advantage, “So preciously bold,“ he chuckled blackly, “And how does one face a preordained future at its leisure, hmm?” Captain’s pupiless heliotrope eyes gleamed as he continued to prowl, tail lashing predatorily and ears pricked forward like a wolf moving in to make its kill, “denial won’t save you here, my lovely.”
In all her decades spent roaming the waste’s of purgatory Captain had crossed paths with too many creatures to count, far more than in the not inconsiderable span of his years on earth. Time was the greatest of teachers, as they said back on earth, and Captain had all the time in the universe - not that such a trivial concept meant anything at all to her. Even as a puppy back on earth he’d had quite a knack for profiling individual creatures, keying in on subtle clues that spoke volumes about anyone. Clues no one could hide about themselves no matter how hard they tried. Her time spent in purgatory had only trained him to sharpen this talent. Now she knew not only how to read others, she knew how to bait them into sharing information about themselves without even realizing they had don so.
“Tell me little sssspider,” she hissed, drawing out the sound of each “s” because she knew it made himself sound unhinged, not quite right in the head -- not to suggest that she was entirely so to begin with, “why are you so dessspairingly bitter, hmm?” Captain questioned, tone taking on an air of feminine seductiveness, gaze never once leaving the stranger as she continued to circle him like a vulture, “is it because you regret your vilenessss? Or mayhapsss you regret losssing your opportunity to ssspread it further, inflict your deviance on more innocent livesss?”
