stalagmites are everywhere in this large landscape, creating something much like a maze. You cannot walk two feet without walking into one of these deadly stones. The place is dry, the air thin and bitter.

the river styx, a place of legend, runs right through the middle of hell. the river is wide and fast, with a dark hue. the water carries flesh in it, poisoned with the dead, the currents beckon you to drink it, but there is no promise you will survive, for the river has caused sickness to some, and even death to the unlucky.

the dark sea is a place of ominous mystery. the salt water seems inhabitable, however many fear what lay in it. under the surface are rotting reefs, seaweed and more. the dark water is often home to shadows of what may appear to be monsters- but this is hell, and fear caused hallucinations are not rare. be wary where you wander, for the dark sea is not as merciful as the gods.

this is an interesting place, for few know of it. the area is made of stone, however, there is a large fire raging in the center. it does not spread, nor is anything feeding its flame. it stretches tall, as though trying to escape its curse. no one understands the nature to the flame, but refer to it as the "Ravaging Fire" or "Eternal Flame."

tall steel gates and a wall of fire serve as the gates to the arena. gatekeepers stand at the entrance. anyone who wishes to test the battles would go to the guardians. anyone can gain access, and the keepers will put cease to the fire, but only for a moment. they're only there to keep the monster gladiators in...
