HELL'S COLOSSEUM TOURNAMENT SIGN-UPS

This is a new set-up for many of us, and the whole concept takes some consideration & eagerness for members to include themselves in this fun project.

'The hell hounds (guardians of hell's gate) have decided to lurk among the colosseum to see some well entertaining battles, right? Some have found the Colosseum to be a gathering place of Hell, creatures are showing up here for good entertainment or to enter themselves into the gladiator - like event. The hell hounds hold a grin on their face, some believe they'd grant you permission to leave hell if you win this tournament of battles. There isn't a set start or end to this tournament, but if you lose... your character will either be killed by the opponents are banished to the out lands of hell by the hell hounds!'

Members CAN decide among themselves who will win, who will lose. However if that is not the case, a staff member will follow the battle thread and decide who wins and who loses. If members pull-out of a thread, don't finish up threads, etc. the Staff member will then use a good ol' flip the coin to figure out who wins.

In the tournament, there can be up to FOUR characters in the arena. one vs. one -or- two vs. two.

The end of the battle is determined by the character(s) passing out, giving the give-up signal or being killed.

Through out the tournament winners receive:: fresh water, warm food, etc. or clouds from the hell hounds and spectators.
-- (the colosseum will be a gathering ground for gamblers on entrees.)

Losers will be banished to the out lands, a vast desert with sulfur glaciers and uneven swampy grounds-- causing extreme oxygen poisoning, no food, cesspool water, 3rd degree burns and uh.. trench-foot. The air is so thick, birds are hardly able to fly a foot over ground, the humidity causing quick dehydration... etc. The distance of the out lands back to normal hell lands take two weeks to travel.

I would really appreciate it if anyone had any good ideas on how we start this all out? A host perhaps? With that being said we could make OOC bets on the contestants for the underground market and such. Start putting prizes out on the table for contestants to see, so they're getting more than just pride of course ;) This host, if we were to have one, could do a speech of the Hell Hounds granting freedom or special powers (of course this is a hoax) However some may be desperate, others are defiantly in it for the fun and entertainment, the thrill.
