[/i] (120 minutes in rp time, not real life time, obviously) IF your character stays in heaven / hell for too long before returning back into the pool, your character will be stuck in that world. characters who are already in hell / heaven cannot go through this portal once sentences / stuck there.
Our site has many turns of events/conditions that can be confusing. With the introduction of unknown areas, norse gods and a conflict plot yet to be revealed~ we know for a fact the site might have your head spinning. So I ask you read through this list of random FAQ's I typed up. If more questions reoccur, I'll add them in too (:
where does my character start role playing?
when creating the application for your character, you choose if they end up in hell, heaven or the purgatory. you decide if you want to start with them getting judged, walking towards their fate or already in their of heaven or hell.
my character was sent to hell!
congratulations, you must have choose this in your biography and the goddess Vor banished you to the depths of burning hell. this area is hot, the sky is often a black - dark red color and flames seem to outline many horizons. once you're in hell, you can't leave- the hell hounds guard the gate back to the purgatory.
my character was sent to heaven!
rest easy my friend, your character gets to relish in the haven of happiness, food and relaxation. it's almost like earth, but usually things turn out.. positive here. although some in hell would love to trade places with you, you in fact, cannot leave heaven. the guardians won't allow your character to leave and only lets in more heaven worthy creatures.
and if you stay in the purgatory?
the purgatory is a waste land. when you die on earth, you will appear before 'the post' the judging hall in which you meet your fate. but some are foolish enough to ignore their second chance at life and turn around to run into the unknown. the purgatory is nothing but flat lands with little to no food or water. the security of the purgatory only exists at the post & they won't deal with incompetent fools. death is imminent here and no one is going to save you...
hell hounds, heaven guardians and purgatory security
these characters will be played be staff / trusted members for drama within plots in the future. hell hounds are large canine like creatures that will make you tuck your tail between your legs. the hell hounds gladly accept anyone in hell but won't let you out. meanwhile the heaven guardians appear like gods with the head of an owl, they're always watching. the heaven guardians are weary of who they let in and will never let anyone out. then the purgatory security- these grinning horned creatures tower over you while you get your judging sentence. the security will in fact laugh at you if you attempt to run away from your fate. the security only bother with you if you are within a 100 yard radius of the post, other wise, you will rot in the unknown for all they care.
the norse gods
i used this site as my reference as well as Mufasa and Sage's ideas for whom to use. we are aware some of the gods don't match up exactly to what we put them to, but in general they relate in some way. please do not pester us about these details, we know. they do not affect your roleplaying if you do not want them too. just keep in mind Buri is the creation goddess, she's the one that made the afterlife. Vor is the judging goddess that sends you to heaven or hell. Other Norse Gods can be bought / loaned out to well known members to play important parts in possible future plots.

but i don't want my character to die on earth?
look at it this way, it could be interesting to figure out why or how your character dies. good training for someone like me who is scared to death for their main character to be considered dead. haha anyways for example, your character can 'die' and not remember a thing if you'd please.
****can my character in hell, interact with someone in heaven?
in a sense, yes! the plains are beside each other (we hope to have a visual map for you soon!) and the barrier between these plains are thin / see through, BUT they cannot touch or break though, since it is the gods' magic holding up the barriers. meanwhile if your character is in the purgatory, there is a secret pool that your character can enter to appear in the world of their choice for a limited time
****having babies?
there are many species on this site and it can become confusing, I know. but realize if you want to create a pup/egg/kin etc, then there is some restrictions. if they are generally close related under their species, then they can have hybrid kids. but because this is so complex and new, staff will decide if its possible or not, we are obviously NOT going to see any wolf x bird or deer x dingo babies! like i said, the staff will vote and decide if it is okay or not to create your weird baby,,, love is love, eh?
